SciFi and Fantasy Art: Hakael ('real')

This is a sketch of Hakael, a Fallen Angel that I am currently writing a story about. This one is also the second rendition of Hakael. I like it better than the first.

Good work-- I like the power and musculature of the angel. However, the power of the angel does not carry through to the weapon he carries-- it feels less 3-D and less real. I'd encourage you to look at some diagrams of wings to help the wings look more real as well, but the picture isn't hurting for it. Good work-- keep it up!
