SciFi and Fantasy Art: 8 of Swords (Sketch)

I collect Tarot cards, and the card that seems to get (frighten, disturb, whatever) me the most is the Eight of Swords. It deals with being held against one's will, lack of freedom, bondage, and the like. This is just a sketch, I'm still getting up enough gumption to finish it.

And from seeing your other works, I would have to say you and I draw hair very similar, as in ways of drawing it. So many draw it in comicbook style, like the hair is one peice!But anyway, great work and congrats on the baby!

I also read Tarot cards....and hunnie, yes it does mean that, but rather a card of temporary durance than of irretrivable bondage....amoung other things. this is a great interpratation of the card.... ( for the hell of it the eight of swords divinatory meanings are bad news, violent chagrin, crisis, censure, power in trammels, conflict, calumny, also sickness. Reversed : disquiet, difficulty, opposition, accident, treachery, what is unforseen, and fatality.

31 May 2001	Anonymous	Loading... Maybe - Just Maybe! If this young lass would remove her blindfold she may be able to find her way in life. It's only when we close our eyes to life and cower do we find ourselves lost in the dismal state of depression and loneliness.
