SciFi and Fantasy Art: Boy with dragon

This painting was a response to a story I read, though I don't remember which one. I finished it in about an hour and left it looking a little unfinished. I guess I kind of just liked it that way.

That's really rare nowadays. I like your pictures a lot. What did you use for this one? Watercolor, oil pastels,...?
13 Aug 1999	Artist	Loading... Thanks everyone for the nice comments. This was painted with acrylics on an unstreched piece of canvas. It was the only way I could paint it so quickly at the time.

15 Dec 1999	John Teall	Loading... mavrik perhaps if you read it in wyverns - or gordey's dragon and the george if you picked it up in a second hand book store - not that it matters - i think its is great - i like everything about what i'm seeing here ... forrest and meadow so green - the eternal wonderer and his powerfull and erstwile companion...
