Rational, socialable and kind, Rute was one of the last women officially allowed into the Schattenjäger organization before the upper eschelon ruled out the presence of women among its ranks, ironically enough, because of her own unfortunate experience. Former First Tier Hunter with partner Mellik Metzger, the untimely disappearance of her partner and subsequent lover was cause for her to drop out of the Schattenjäger Organization and find a normal life among the residents of the Schattenjäger basetown of Stuttgart, Germany, as one of its most heralded and respected members. This was a great loss to the Guild, in that it removed the entire top tier of Hunters from the heirarchy. Since this happening is still fresh in her mind, she remains a recluse in her own right in Stuttgart, and genuinely harbors a distrust of the Schattenjäger heads.

First in a series (I hope XF) of character redesigns from my Schattenjäger (Shadow Hunter) story. Most are vastly unfamiliar with Rute, but that's okay considering I never officially introduced her in any pictures on here. XD That writeup is incredibly small and slapdash; there's a lot more to her but.. eh. :B She looks nothing like she used to and I deem that VERY VERY GOOD XD; I miss being able to see my pencils, so this will probably be what the rest of the series will look like. </div>

Nia 'Ultema' Obidos replies: "Thanks! I'm in the process of doing the rest of the characters in this. Rute was supposed to convey that she was self sufficient and strong, but also feminine so I'm glad that her cuffs worked with the rest of her outfit!"
