| 27 Nov 2002 | Meike de Nooy | Hey there! Nice work, it definitely has more potential though... Try making a body from only circles and ovals first! Then put clothes on it. You will see it helps your proportions. Also note that hands are usually the same size as the face. And eyes are about in the middle of the head and that you can, horizontally almost fit on five next to each other in a row (just proportionally wise of course). Finally maybe it also helps not to draw every single hair individually hair on the head or eyelashes(this is assuming this is A4 size) when it get's bigger you can try it but otherwise it just seems to make it messy. I really hope this helps you, it is not to put your art down but simply some guideliness to help improve it... I myself seem to draw eyues slightly bigger because I like drawing them, it can be part of your personal style! Just keep practicing! That's the way I learned (and looking at other peoples work help giving you idears of how to improve as well! Good luck, keep it up! (oh, I filled so much space) | |
