SciFi and Fantasy Art: Erina & PurgusErina, a demon slayer, and Purgus, a demon outcast. Together they stand, side by side, fighting the hordes of darkness (but not for the same purpose of course). This is the first picture I have drawn that has to do with a dark fantasy RPG world I am constructing. The world is called Darkside and it's possible that you will see some more illustrations later on. Hope you like it. | |
 | | | | | Date | Name | Comment | | | 5 Aug 2003 | Joseph Gnemmi | I comented on Erina in the last pic, so I'll comment on Purgus this time round. He's a Hulk! Could you please write a story about how he was banished from the demon. . .um. . .thingummy Hordish. .whatever, and why Erina didn't kill him on first sight? I love the pic! especially Purgus' hooves. Nicklas Lundqvist replies: "So you found your way into this one as well...and you choose to comment on the demon too. You never know Joseph, maybe I can scrabble a few words together in a short story to let you know how things turned out the way they did. I'm not making any promises though! " | |
| 16 Aug 2003 | Penguin | Hey now...they are the spitting image of my characters in a book I'm writing...scary...they are awesome though...You are truly an amazing artist. Nicklas Lundqvist replies: "Thank you Penguin (did your parents name you after that evil little creature in Batman?)...hey, I'm just kidding. What are you trying to tell me? You mean I'm not the first one to think of this concept? What a horrible thought that would be... " | |
| 27 Mar 2004 | Blah guy #2 | You sould draw another with that guy like hacking throught a lesser demon, or a mortal who chose to stay in his way. Nicklas Lundqvist replies: "A hack'n'Slash image with Purgus? That's a thought...I'm sure he would enjoy it. " | |

| 17 May 2004 | Just a guy that cant draw | Well, all of your pictures are AWSOME, if I could do even the head of the demon dude I would be happy. I was wondering how u got it to look so perfectly smooth? do u use photo or any other program? Anyways, props on the drawing(s)....c ya! Nicklas Lundqvist replies: "I'm glad you think so! Nope, I don't use any programs other then for shrinking the images to a more practical format. " | |
| 11 Jan 2005 | Brenna | meep.thats soo cool, Erina is a little scary though, hehe, only joking they're both scary. Nicklas Lundqvist replies: "Glad you liked it Brenna! " | |
| 15 Jan 2005 | Bunny | Ach! It's not fair, how do you mange to do such perfect shading AND such fine detail? I can usually manage one but otherwise I start to overload. Your artwork is amazing. Nicklas Lundqvist replies: "Training, lot's of traing! To be honest, I think I overload too someimes. Thank you! " | |
| 21 Jun 2006 | Maria | Oh it would be cool looking if the demon guys claws on his feet were diggin into the dirt or maybe just a lil more pointy and dangerous looking.. as he is he reminds me of lilo and stitch...lol..but other wise MAGNIFICENT!!! Nicklas Lundqvist replies: "And what's so bad about Lilo & Stitch? It's a cute movie and this is a cute demon. I see your point though Maria... " | |
| 25 Aug 2006 | Chels | Pssst it's behind you!! Nicklas Lundqvist replies: "Hahaha... that's freakin hilarous Chels! I really mean it! " | |
| 10 Apr 2007 | Anonymous | I may be being really slow, but do you write books for these characters?, because if u dont ill hunt you down and force you to write stories for me! You've got some great characters, that are just begging to have huge fantasy epics with them!(if you do write stories then i apologise for the comment). Nicklas Lundqvist replies: "I do write (or at least I try) but not so much about the characters in my gallery. Only a few of them have made it onto the pages that I've written so far. Does this mean I should stay clear of you? Oh, how do I know whom to stay clear of when you call yourself Anonymous? That's quite... anonymous. " | |
