SciFi and Fantasy Art: Oddfellow

Oddfellow is a character that started to take shape over a year ago while I was sketching away on a piece of paper. He then got lost for a while but when I found him a while back I decided to complete the drawing. I decided to remove another picture from the gallery so I used it as a background for this image instead. Turned out ok I think. :)

Is that a cliff next to him?

looks like my teacher "Daniel Jaensson" *LOL*

:-) Nicklas Lundqvist replies: "Poor thing...you must have a hard time learning anything at all. "

I have a little problem with the cane hand, see if you can figure it out.

:-) Nicklas Lundqvist replies: "I think I know what you mean, but it not impossibe to hold the cain like that. It all depends on how you hold your fingers (which might not be to obvious in this drawing though). "

What is that key he is holding? is it to the mansion? And he swirels on his face are they natural?

:-) Nicklas Lundqvist replies: "The key probably had a purpose at point but unfortunately I have forgotten what it was for. The swirels you refer to are in fact tatooes. "

I LOVE the idea of another pic for a background!
=3)

:-) Nicklas Lundqvist replies: "Since I wasn't going to display the landscape drawing anymore I figured I might as well try to use it as a background. "

love it. Totally, and i dont kno why. Iguess it kind of reminds me of a story book i once read with a beetle in a suit. But ever time i look at it, i have to go back and look agian. Awsome work!

:-) Nicklas Lundqvist replies: "Thank you! A beetle in a suit, that sounds familiar. Glad you like it! "

Uh-Oh Mr. Rabbit from Alice in Wonderland gone mad. And is that the yellow brick road under his tie.

U know iam kiddin Nick its great.

:-) Nicklas Lundqvist replies: "I think he might have been a bit inspired by the rabbit from the Wonderland to be honest, but it's like a twisted version though and not really a rabbit. "

he reminds me of Bilbo Baggins with a twist.

:-) Nicklas Lundqvist replies: "He could be Bilbo Baggins with a twist for all I know. I'm sure I used something as reference (if not intencionally then unintencionally) and the hobbits could very well be it... don't remember quite frankly. "

Hehe, love this! He is cute...in a very ugly way.

11 Nicklas Lundqvist replies: "Thanks Natalie! He sure is weird, isn’t he."
