SciFi and Fantasy Art: Hippocampus

I did this sometime in early 2003 using self hardening clay, some glass marbles, and acrylic paints. It stands on an octagonal mirror. It's about 5.5 inches tall. It's old, but it's here now since I only just got a digital camera with which to take pictures of my sculptures. :)

*first comment dance, first comment dance* Okay, it looks very nice. I really like how the clay has a little shine/sheen to it. I also like how it has marble-like things on front.

:-) Nico Danell replies: "Thanks! The marbles are these little glass bead thingies, I have hundreds of them. I like to stick them here and there in some of my sculptures."

I think your sculpture is pretty cool. I'm doing a report on Hippocampuses!

Very nice. I love the colors and the rounded shape of it. Blues are awesome...And it's shiny. Who could ask for more?
