SciFi and Fantasy Art: Hellhound

A Hellhound, or Wulv (say 'woolv'), from my world. Coloured pencils and inks. I wish the pencil wasn't so blotchy, but that's life.

Yup, those teeth somehow look like they belong to a much tamer beast 1 I like the picture, though, don't get me wrong. It's very vivid and

:-) Nico Danell replies: "Vivid and...? Ah, well. =) I concede the point that I made the teeth too small. I will consider that next time."

I want one of these too! They'd make a great guard dog! Course..it would eat my dog, but i'm sure he'd choke on the furball and spit him back up, eventually they'd make friends! I love the colours, very enraged and maddening.

:-) Nico Danell replies: "Actually, I doubt a Wulv would make a good guard dog... They're far too intelligent to serve humans. He'd probably just eat his 'master' at the first opportunity. Thanks, 2"

Good job!I don't really think he needs bigger teeth so much as bigger fangs myself. But great beast either way.

:-) Nico Danell replies: "Yes, that's a good point (no pun intended)! I could try to do bigger fangs next time... That would look better. 2"

I think the colored pencil gives it texture... I think thats one cute hell-hound!

:-) Nico Danell replies: "Cute, until the little bastard rips your throat out. XD But yeah, I have to agree, all my monsters are too cute."

Oy! Wouldn't wanna run into him on a dark road at night. Scary looking bugger. Wonderful work on the colors!

12 Nico Danell replies: "You wouldn't want to run into him on a bright road at daytime, either. I sure wouldn't, and he's mine."

"Cute, until the litte bastard rips your throat out"hehe, i gotta write that one down somewhere...2
he would make a great tattoo on my butt......do ya' mind??

:-) Nico Danell replies: "Uh... I don't mind if you do it yourself somehow (I'd like to see that). But if you pay someone else to do it then there's definitely a problem."

Yup, looks like a terror of a Hellhound- wonderful colors. You know the trick with the teeth, you can just imagine that they grown when he's about to bite into something or attack...I think I saw that kind of trick in a movie once or twice. AJ's right, it would make a pretty cool tattoo, though I don't know about the butt part- doesn't seem like a worthy place for such a great pic 12
There is a true Celtic look to him, like in the curl at the end of the tail and the stance and proportions and all...looks like he could be wrapped up in one of those knots somehow. This really is VERY cool, and you really did do a VERY good job making it! 2 -Kay

:-) Nico Danell replies: "Thanks a lot! That's an interesting idea, that his teeth would grow... Like a vampire or something. Eeek."
