SciFi and Fantasy Art: Da'an The Mysterious

It's a new painting! Yay! My most recent work (finished June 9th, 2001). Da'an is the name I have bestowed upon my black dragon figurine - the pillar is in actuality..well, black, and it's a candleholder. This painting is to show Da'an's personality, which is more humble Green Dragon than Black. The design in the left corner was something I drew up at school..hah, at least Law class is doing me some good! :P Again, I wasn't able to get the border in there, or the bottom of the pillar, but that's alright. If you must know, the border is a lighter green. Fairly good, in my opinion, but if I had more patience, I could do much better. :P
