SciFi and Fantasy Art: The Jester imp

Somebody in my Health class asked me to draw an impish court jester, and I took him at his word! I like the shading I did on this one; just wish my scanner didn't cut off the edges *grumble* cuz he's got such cute lil bells on his hat. Ah well, balefire happens!

The dark corners look like they were intentional Niki 'Jedi Wolf Sister' Patton replies: "Well, see, there's this problem: I don't have a computer that could handle a CG coloring program of any kind (Heck, sometimes it has a malfunction in MSPaint), and I'm kinda afraid to take colored pencils to something that turned out so well with all the graphite shading. Ya know? I've smacked myself several times for ruining a beautiful pencil piece with color."
