SciFi and Fantasy Art: Hobbit girls

Intended to be part of a family portrait; the curly-haired girl in front is Elanor, and the other is one of her sisters. This was the first of my hobbit drawings, trying to draw the facial features and body types I picture for them. I never saw why they had to be plain looking just because they weren't as 'wondrous fair' as the elves ^__^ Also creating a style for their clothing. Coloured version coming eventually.

Absolutely gorgie.It was said that Elanor looked more like a young elf maiden than a hobbit,and in this picture you've really captured that. ps .Who is that other girl?Of the later children of Samwise and Rose, it could be:Rose II,Goldilocks,Daisy,Primrose or Ruby.Details please?

2 Jul 2008	Plasto	Loading... it is a good drawing, however i think maybe hobbit girls would be a little more stocky. instead of fairy’s with hairy feet.
