SciFi and Fantasy Art: Firebird Dancer

The dance of the Firebird is very traditional dance in Carslen, whose flag bears the Firebird on a blue field. Tandra's mother dances this often when the troupe is in Carslen, and Tandra is learning.

Originally colored pencil, but I cleaned it up in photoshop and made the colors brighter.

And the colours youve used are gorgeos, i can picture a whole carnaval with these dancers as the main focus, you should draw it!! Anita M. King replies: "Thank you. I've been working on a phoenix costume design for a couple of years, and this is the first that really came out the way I intended. Maybe I'll even make the costume, though I'd have to modify the design to work on a non-dancer's figure. If I get around to it, it'll be an interesting project."
