| 6 Jun 2005 | Kendra Tucker | *Does first comment dance* I really love the colors - the warmth of the yellow and green against the cool background is just beautiful. The line work is so smooth and delicate - she is a gorgeous fairy. Your work is breath taking and I applaud your talent and imagination - not to mention all the detail! - you totally make me want to learn to watercolor better! Thanks for inspiring us. *hands you a cookie* | |
| 20 Jul 2005 | Sara | I hope you posted this just recently; it's much too worth commenting on to have only one comment prior. Your control of the skin tone in this is absolutely exquisite-- sometime let me know which colors you use; I have issue with skin tones in watercolor. I very much enjoy the setting, though the food seems a little random; a summer rite, perhaps? Or something? The first time I looked the space seemed really compressed, really depthless, but I've revised my first scoff into a smile-- the lack of space in the piece really enhances the mood, and makes me feel like I've come across something very private and priveleged. Thanks for sharing this with us; all of your work is very inspiring and beautiful-- I'm tempted for the first time in a long time to go paint something fantastical. Cheers, and keep being beautiful! | |

Thats just the dress I wanted for my sisters wedding! *nearly faints, does tip over the desk and lays against the keyboard twitching slightly* In my head o course, how odd to see it. You didn't happen by anychance to have a reference did you? *Whimpers and bookmarks* | |

| 20 Nov 2007 | Stephanie S. K. Marbach | I like the detail of the clothes haning from the tree branches... Oh, and again: Her dress is beautiful... | |
| 18 Dec 2007 | David Michael | Oh...wow. Every once in awhile I run across a painting of an extremely beautiful person, a once-in-a-lifetime face that's all the more astounding because someone had to think it up. This is one such face. Yes, the forest is cool; yes, the stone wall is a neat addition; yes, her dress is gorgeous. But there's something else in her face, an incredible serenity, a wisdom, a gentility - it's a window into a beautiful soul. Her hair, thick yet pulled elegantly back...those lone strands hanging playfully down...her proud lips and heavy eyes...everything works together. In my opinion, this is an exceedingly good picture, one that I would consider worth it to view again for inspiration. And coming from a writer, who very much relies on inspiration to fight the goblins of laziness, that's a high compliment indeed. | |
