SciFi and Fantasy Art: Hrothulf at 6186

This is the super-old version of Hrothulf, at over 6000 years old (he was magically granted an enhanced lifespan). This one is a little extreme when compared with the 32 year old Hrothulf; but I got a little carried away with the aging process. :) I also have a 7 year old version of Hrothulf in the works; but Hrothulf was an awkward looking kid so I might hold off on that version.

Simply, that's great.

Another thought.. by 6000 or whatever he is, those tattoos might've faded from his chest, can just see them there at the corners.

:-) Nathan M. Rosario replies: "You're right, the ears and nose should both be bigger, thanks for pointing that out. As for the tattoos, they are all magically applied tattoos and won't fade over time. The "snake" tattoos on his arms are "Tattoos of Protection +10" they give him a natural 20 AC for 3rd Ed D&D, or a natural 0 AC for 2nd Ed D&D."

You might want to look at how the ears and nose would be larger because of his age, you know, how old peoples nose's and ear's are larger as they age?
Pretty good all around, nice job

Nathan, all I can say is that you are very very talanted, there are no better artists on this site. Every one of your drawings are fantastic, I look forward to seeing the 7 year old version. Good work, keep it up!

I got a question: How do you overdo the aging process on a 6000 year old dude? : )

Btw, I just love the mustache!

:-) Nathan M. Rosario replies: "Uhh, well, he was supposed to be only 700 when I drew the picture, but I aged him so much I had to make him over 6000 to account for his look and his magically enhanced lifespan.2"

I like the "don't make me have to kill you too, I'm too old for this sht," expression on his face..

Just a note about the prospect of larger ears and a larger nose. They don't grow larger with age...the rest of the face usualy becomes sunken and drawn out. Making the nose and ears LOOK bigger.

I really like it very much=D
but eeh,.. aren't dwarves proud on their beards..? I don't reckon he's proud on being a beard-less dwarf?

I agree with Justin H. all the way! This dude is awesome even when hes old! And I usually dont like people in general when they’re over like, 40. IDK what it is. They are just old and likely to die, I guess.
