I should know- in the course of my life, I've lived on and off with about 20 cats (and I'm only 15) and gotten very attached to them all. This painting really captures the grief (and underlying anger) of losing a feline companion.   Natalia Nikitin replies: "I've had a cat once.... but I lost her not through death, but having to move to another country. Had to give her away and all. I have a dog now and find myself one of the rare people who like both cats and dogs equally. Thanks for the comment!" | |
