This picture is absolutely perfect!!! It embodies the time and emotion of Russian folklore. It is stylistically exquisite in its true-to-history depiction of Russian art.

Thanks! I really should try to draw some more pictures based on Russian myths and fairytales. There is much there to illustrate.

I don't know how you get more creaive than that =) You have my thanks, but I very much hope you can get a whole more creative than this. This picture isn't really very original as I didn't even come up with the concept.

Congrats on the mod's choice. I love the dream like quality that you pic captures. It take you to another world where there are still things that live in the wild.Thanks! Oh it isn't another world - it's just people forgot to see this one for what it is. I'm not saying creatures like this really exist, but I do think that real world is anything BUT a boring place.

The concept wasn't yours but the rendition is I think the piece exploits a multitude of talent and creativity mixed with almost a passion. It's like a piano player who isn't the best but puts so much emotion into the music that it's a masterpiece instead of someone who practices for hours but lacks the feeling.  Thank you for your kind comment! I do not think my 'art' worthy of such praise. Good level of skill requires effort and hard work, and in this case my poor skill points only to sheer laziness and lack of effort. It is when the best piano player plays the music with all the emotion that you get a truly amazing performance.

This painting startled me. I actually shivered when I first saw it. I'm not sure why, but it reminds me of a dream I had once, which is particularly strange because the dream did not have any creature such as the one here. Maybe sometime I'll take a listen to that song, though I don't know Russian yet. Next semester, or the semester after, I intend to begin!
