SciFi and Fantasy Art: Given by the Lady of the Lake

I've been a fan of Arthurian lore for as long as I can remember, and I love the stories behind the origin of his sword, Excalibur. One of these is that it was given to him buy the lady of the lake, and it was given back to her upon his wound.

15 Nov 1999	Cheryl Tan	Loading... what was this done in? looks like pencil scanned in line art. the depiction of this is rather interesting but again i have a few technical suggestions. the handle of the sword isn't quite parallel with the blade so you might wanna fix that, and the water could be improved further than a few squiggles (check out Michael Turner's Fathom if you wanna see well done depictions of splashes/water). other than that this is a good pic. i like the engravings on the sword.
