Thanks for your comment on my story. I have some drawing also, but go under a different name. Strange that you can’t do writing and drawing under the same name.

I had a friend with the middle name of Skip and beat you up if you called him anything other than Skip. Do you go by Skip?

Hi Skip! I casually read your profile... Do you know my land is one of the best place for canoe and kajak?????

Sherman Skip Nodler replies: "I know very little about Italy except school classes on ancient history though I can imagine boating along the coastline would be fantastic. I just got back from teaching at a music camp in Cordova along the coast in Alaska. They didn’t give me enough time to get on the water. Arrrgh! It was fun anyway ;-)

I have visited a few times since you kindly commented on my drawing two days ago. I’ve hesitated to comment until now, mostly because I can’t pick which piece I want to leave my mark on.... So until I have something more intelligent to say, I will just stop here at your guest book, if you don’t mind. Your portraiture is excellent. Each face holds so much character they all compete for my attentions. It is one thing to be able to make faces look different when drawing so many (kudos for that, as well), but it is quite another to make each and every one look so alive. Your pieces do just that. Looking at your front page gallery is like looking at a myriad of cheerful people at a Mardi-Gras.

Sherman Skip Nodler replies: "I think I’m more of a re producer than an artist. All but three drawings here are of Elves I’ve met here in Alaska. The hard ones to draw are the ones I know best. It’s hard to bring out the inner beauty I see in them. I haven’t had time to draw these last few years but I started a couple drawings so hopefully I’ll add more, fingers crossed ;-)
