SciFi and Fantasy Art: Enchanted forest

<div class='text block pppt'>This is a piece of art inspired by a real-life photo I saw on a rpg website.
I wanted to create a forest full of life and peace along with magical beings and a mystical character. I'm not sure if I want to give him the title of magician but he sure looks like he can cast a spell or three and by his facial expression, it seems he likes fire berries for some reason.

Fire berries are known to be magical and are used in a variety of rituals and spells...and if used correctly, they can grant life to magical beings.
The glowing gelly babies belongs to the dryad living in this part of the forest.. she is a kind dryad and she uses them to complete tasks for her.

I went crazy and painted this beauty in only one layer ( Mode:color:multiply , is a superb thing ) . Packed it with details such as extra creatures and insects and stuff...can You find them all?...I had to stop myself when I started pushing pixel for pixel..*puh*

I think I spent something like 3-4 evenings on this one, PS 6 and a Wacom tablet. </div>

What an amazing place, I have a few characters who would settle down here, so I keep them far away. You did manage to fill this forest with vitality.

Wow!
This is even better than the "Mighty Wizard".
I can even say you are one of my favourites on Elfwood.

Oooh, i forgot to add, I like the little lizardy creature inthe back ground (or maybe it's a big dragon, just far away!)

The sun on that tree trunk is just stunning! I could stare at it all day. An overall lovely piece.

Gosh, I keep thinking I've commented on this one, but apparently not. It's great. I love the cloaked wizard with the staff (who wouldn't?), he's reminiscent of so many of my characters. And the little gelly babies, very cute and magical. You totally achieved your goal here. The detail is outstanding. I see a lizard on the tree in the upper right, a purple flower in the left middle on a leafy branch, tiny gelly babies all over the place, and those wonderful light sparkles floating about. Muy excelente y muchos kudos! (as if I spoke Spanish, psh)

There are a LOT of Scandinavians here who are awesome artists, it seems.

oH NO! The infants are on fire! They are virtually IGNITED! We must quench them!
