SciFi and Fantasy Art: Sor

The only daughter of Thordar, Sor is Dragon of Destruction. When she reached maturity, Thordar gave her the Black Pearl, vessel of destruction; it collects destroyed energy, making Sor stronger. Sor was the only one of Thordar`s children who was given such a powerful gift, but Black Pearl was created by Primordial storm (which gave birth to Sethma) and it was meant to be given to female heir of Thordar`s bloodline; only they can wield its destructive power and not get destroyed themselves in the process...this was a painful lesson that Horron learned. Horron, Sor`s power-thirsty older brother, stole Black Pearl and tried to wield it, but it destroyed him and his essence, turning him into the part of Black Pearl and blackening it even more with his dark, stained soul.

UBER-unique! in English class today, we made "swords" for our interpretation of Macbeth, but this is WAAAY better than our flimsy swords... yet somehow i was cut by one of the swords... o_0 um... yeah... lovely sculpture! BTW, what's the pearl? a marble? a REAL black pearl? ^_^

26 Jan 2005	Quiet and shy	Loading... I've tried a lot of things, but never foil before. I saw your tutorial, and it looks like fun. Maybe I'll try it someday, but, so far the only way I use foil in art is to fill the bodies of my bigger polymer clay sculptures. this dragon is excelent, though. Keep up the good work!
