SciFi and Fantasy Art: Damian Drekmayre, Vukaran DeathknightThis is Damian, or at least the first rendition of him. Deathknight is a misnomer. He is not, as most would believe, a vicious, merciless killer. He is, instead, one of Vukara's chosen warriors, a knight of the God King of Death and Rebirth, whose original function within the hierarchy of deities has been confused with the god Alaran, the guide for lost souls. Vukara's role is to recycle chosen souls back to the living world so that life may begin anew; or, if a judged soul has been proven worthy, the dead ascend to the realm of the Gods themselves, to bask in the light of Paradise. Unfortunately, after serving a country begging for release from war, Damian's sect was betrayed, and most destroyed. I'm looking to redo this. | |

Wonderful effect, I would say it makes palpable his dual nature, but I'm not sure he has a light side  great job on the expression. and the armor, I have so much trouble making armor like metallic (as is obvious from my gallery) I like this one especially becuase I'm so bad at drawing men. I know I know, practice practice. <examines the armor for a bit> How *do* you make it so shiny. Great picture. | |
