You do know that things like that, roughly dog size independent mine clearance robots, are actually in sight of entering service now, in the real world? How much longer after that can it be before they start producing aggressive versions?
Once it gets billion- dollar R&D programs built around it, it's not SF any more, it's tactics.
Why dance, when you should be running and hiding from the future?
