SciFi and Fantasy Art: Sketch, Centaur

I can't remember if it was a deer or an elk, one of the two. I was sketching it off a calander and I just decided to put a human torso on it. I think it turned out pretty well except for the fact that its not finished.

17 Nov 2002	Tressym	Loading... You might be interested to know there is a mythological beast known as the 'Hybsil' which fits your drawing reasonably well. "Hybsils look like 3-foot tall centaurs with the bodies of antelopes (or deer, I suppose) instead of horses." Source: Forgotten Realms: Monsters of Faerun (RPG Sourcebook). I think there are one or two other mythological beasts with the deer/human makeup as well... I'm full of useless facts this morning! (grin!)
