SciFi and Fantasy Art: Daemon's Grin

This is what happens when one gets bored in English class...just another wonder of how the teenage mind withdraws on itself when faced with hoards of literature at one time. It started as a quick sketch that developed quickly into something that looks like a cross between a dragon and a gargoyle, so I called him a daemon and that was that. I tried shading with a line technique, I kinda like the texture it gives it. The gold in the eye was a bit of gel pen..I just got it..HAD to experiment..and this would be the reselt a great bug undead looking deamon from the nether reaches of hell. Ta da! Anyways I'm babbling so either enjoy or be grotesqed or miscelleneous!

I know what you mean. School is also my favorite place for drawing, though it's not the english-lesson where the Spirits of Art slip into my sick, twisted mind (greetings to Theola, d°_^b ) but the maths-lesson (boooooring).
If you wanna see the results, then have a look at my Dragon...

Greetings from the Weird Grove...

i must say i really do like this thing, it is beautiful in its own way. the hatching and all must have taken a long while...must have been a very boring class? Wonderful creature anyhow, and you have even done a job to get rid of the lines! i must say i am impressed.

hehe, ya.. the head and the front uhm.. what do you call that... front paws? front claws? hands? bah, you know what I mean! Those looks like the dragon part and the rest of it kinda looks like a displacer beast from AD&D.

Love it!

Freaky stuff. Can you do any high-res scans? They would be good to see.
