SciFi and Fantasy Art: At the Edge of the Abyss

Just a slight not to my viewers: This pic is a present to a friend of mine, and as such I would appreciate being asked ahead of time if any of you wish to use it for whatever reason. ---- The picture was just peiced together through moments of inspiration. It shows a dragon, exiled and traped. Chained to the cold earth, unable to fly or feel the sun again due to man's damnation, and going insane at his inability to do so. He is met and joined by a child of the fae, bound by voluntary, if invisible, chains of guilt and sorrow. Her inner turmoil is driving her to the brink os sanity as well, lost and alone, berfit of companionship to wander the world in self-exile. Then the pair meet, and find solice in eachothers company down deep in the earth where no soul may pass judgement. Her for her ability to speak, and he for his ability to listen, have formed a bond that could break the chains that bind them. Perhaps one day, they will both be free...

You are getting ever better, daughter dear. This posing is very effective with that cloth background. It reminds me of a medieval tapestry. I like the story that goes along with it, too.

A nice drawing. The drawing style is nice, as usual, and the mood is well captured. The colouring is well done, but maybe the colours are a bit out-of-place. I think darker and less saturated colours would help express the mood better.
