SciFi and Fantasy Art: 'Heart Seeker'

Just another of a guy and his fancy, technically compromised bow. The bow doesn't look too functional... but I still think it looks cool.

Wow! You have the musculature and costumes down pat! The only thing that I think that you could improve upon is the backgrounds... although it is nice that it allows you to study the characters themselves.

i love the stance, and the foreshortening on the leg is really realistic [i think] the bow is a ok, but as a right handed archer, the shaft of the arrow would be rested on the other side of the bow.

That bow Is amazing, The archer is awesome. The dragon is stunning. He does seem to be shooting towards the ground, but mabye he is near the end of a clif taking ati at a caravan travelig along the passage below.

Realy good art but y would anyt archer but his rasor sharp arrows in the ground <dumb move>and the arrow has to be on the other side of the bow i do like this and the bow would work in reality

No that bow is possible you just have to hold the arrow below the dragons wing so the fletching doesn't catch on it, the damned thing they use to hold the arrow in place on a real fiber glass bow is more obstructive than that

I can't get over that bow, amazing! Such a simple idea, yet it's what gives the picture it's whole 'edge'. I dunno get the hell that guy is aiming at, but whatever it is, it should be proud to be killed by an arrow fired from such an awesome bow ^_^

Nice pic,but the proportioning needs attention. When pulling a bow the elbow pionts nearly straight back. The forearm lengths should be equal from elbow to wrist...The bow is funtionable i have one close to that i shoot on occasion that helmet would be hard to were though, he could be aiming off a hill, the arrows wouldn't come out of the dirt easily if they had the same piont as the one on the bow...Not to run you down just somthing to think about for your next pic
