It has been quite a while since my last update.  I am now married, and will soon be off to join the US Air Force.  I am back and fourth between America and Germany where my husband is currently stationed (also in the Air Force).

I have recently (in the past couple of years) discovered paint-by-numbers and have completed several kits by Dimensions Crafts.  I know most people don't think they these kits take much talent since everything is "laid out" for you, but in fact, to complete the advanced kits you have to be extremely steady handed and patient.  I like adding my own touches to all of my kits, which enhances the detail and also puts my own "mark" on the finished product.   Nothing says that you have to follow all the rules with the kits, and they can be quite helpful templates for learning new painting techniques.
