Really beautiful work on the detail, her blind eyes and her face Norma, but some how it needs more depth and more contrast to the shading around her neck.Thank you, Steph. Now, oddly enough, I would agree with you that seemingly the neck would need more depth, because there's usually a great degree of shadowing in that area. But this is exactly how my model-reference looked, due to the fact that her head is tipped back, and there is a bright light shining directly on her face and the front of her neck. I was torn between painting what I thought it should look like, and what I actually saw, and I chose the latter.

!!! I love this one. Naturally, blue is my favorite color so I love that choice but this one looks like an oil painting. I love the background too, very textured. Oh, and I'm stoked about the feature that lets me know when you update. It's awesome! Thanks, Mandy. I'm happy that you like her.
