SciFi and Fantasy Art: Violet Eyes to Die For

A vampire gazes at her latest conquest. Medium: Painter 6. Downsized from the original. Note: This picture was modified and re-uploaded on February 7, 2004. I changed the blood flowing from the mouth, minimizing it a bit and curving it just slightly to suit the contour of the chin. Several viewers suggested the change, and I agreed. We will see if this improves the look of the picture.

She looks so sad behind those violet eyes, like this is never the path she would have chosen and is almost sad for using someone else's life to provide her strength.This is exactly how I wanted to portray her. Thank you for seeing that.

I'm not terribly familiar with it in great detail, but you never know what I might decide to do.
