I noticed your wish for comments on the mail list and i decided to follow the link. I guess it works 1 And i´m very pleased with your gallery, specialy with the characters you create. You also have a color scheme that gives great mood to some of your images. I guess what you only need now, is more detailled backgrounds and you´ll be on the right track, because your characters deserve good backgrounds to "live". 1yeah,I have problems with backgrounds,gotta work on that and coloring,Thanks2

your art is very charming. I have a cousin who owns an oil painting by Olivi Laine (the spelling may be incorrect). It was probably painted in the 1950's. Do you know anything about this artist?

:-) Petra Laine replies: "Thank you!Olavi Laine,that's the correct spelling.I don't know much about him,but I do know he painted winter forest scenaries and such.And that he was born 1922 and died 1983.I've read that critics didn't appreciate his work,but people did and loved his work."
