SciFi and Fantasy Art: Anna and the techicolour gryph.

Realistic colour scheme's are boring. Done for a student in my mother's class, a special person, who thought, never to live to her 15th birthday, is celebrating it next week. She's a battler, so this is a small birthday gift, to bring some colour into her life....=) Done with oils and gouache.

By the way...what IS gouache? You obviously seem to have gotten the hang of it... I'll look it up eventually, but if someone could explain it that would be nice. Anyway, good job!!
