SciFi and Fantasy Art: Bringer of Autumn (original)

I drew a simple out line of this in my Lit book and thought it was good. This picture is a further development on A4. I then went to colour this which is in here as well but I think the coloured version lacked the flowing feeling of this original.

I love the stylized effect of the woman, and the overall flow, I think that maybe something it lost in the transfer to colour (in the other pic) is that in this one you are much closer to the subject, which gives a kind of intimacy..oh..and I wanted to thank you for your comment on my page..the stained glass idea is exactly something I was thinking about myself!
