SciFi and Fantasy Art: Vampire

This Vampire is one with a good heart. Her life was very unpleasant though. She was brought up by a human couple after being mistaken for a human when she was found abandoned as a baby. At the age of ten she took her first blood on the two people whom she called mom and dad. From then she knew she was different to others whom she called friends. She was picked up by a Vampire lord to be a servant in his castle. She did not get use to the Vampire life. Instead she spends her time thinking about her 'parents' Here she screams out to God for the miserable life he had given her. The sybol on the right is the sybol of the castle she lives/works in

This is really really great. The instant I saw it, I could almost feel her anguish. She is quite beautiful, and I can definitely see that she has a soul. Theres just this feeling of it... Beautiful work!

Once again..Sorry. No such thing as female vampires, nor with good hearts. Creatures of the undead. Questions: Sephirothxero313@hotmail.Com

i would have to say that first of all. Vampires can't grow up! they are stuck the way they are for all eternity! second of all this is nice.

This has a lot of potential to be a great drawing, but with the stage it's at now, it looks more like an incomplete sketch.

The biggest thing that gives it an incomplete look is that there's hardly any shading. Shading is one of the most important things to remember when creating a drawing - It really brings a picture to life, especially when there's a deep contrast between light and dark.

The expression and pose look quite good, but her proportions could use a little work. What really sticks out is how small her chin and face are overall; try looking at a photo-reference or have someone pose to get a better idea of what a face at this angle would look like. Also, while the ringlet is a nice touch, it doesn't really seem to fit with the rest of her hair; try keeping more of a uniformed look.

Also, I couldn't go by without commenting on some of the other commenters who think they know everything about vampires. It's important to remember that we all have our own interpretation of fantasy creatures and certain "rules" don't always apply. Keep an open mind, folks. 2

LOL wth is Sephiro talking about? He's crazy. Whatever is created with thought exists somewhere.
