SciFi and Fantasy Art: Run Away

Energy flowed through the tip of her fingers and from there spawned a portal, a gateway pack to the Elven forest. She shivered in the blazor sharp wind, the bitterly cold air penatrated through the thin fabric of her robe. She knew this would be the last time she'd ever meet this fierce weather again as it will pain her to set foot on this harsh and heartbreaking land again. Her brittle hand reached for the portal, tears ran down her cheeks and from with in her heart she blessed this white landscape, the land on which her love was thrown away. This picture is done using pencil crayons. I am quite pleased with the portal. However, the Elf had a certain unreal quality about her (the neck is too long perhaps?) and I couldn't get her tears to be more noticable with out it turning out really in your face kinda way (if you know what I mean).

14 Jul 2000	Ellen 'the Alaskan' Million	Loading... Very soft and mystical. Hmm... I think that her neck length is alright for her body, but her head is a little small and (I think) too far to the right. The composition is wonderful.
