SciFi and Fantasy Art: Diamond Weapon

This is the mighty Diamond Weapon. Its powers are rumored to be of great measures. The one that possesses it is the one who might rule the world. But, there is the Black Weapon too, its evil twin, said to be able to destroy the world if it wishes. It is a story I made up, and maybe one day I'll write a longer story about is, and maybe even write some songs... But that belongs to the future.

9 Jan 2001	Anon.	Loading... A diamond sword cant exist, because the blade would be too brittle and it would break, however a sword with a diamond could exist. If the sword is magic, then it doesnt need a diamond edge, because the magic can allow it to be stronger than diamond just because. You sure are cute though.

27 Nov 2002	MrOrmus	Loading... Regardless of the sword being breakable or not, the mere existance of such a large diamond is bordering on impossible. Such a thing would have to be deep in the earth and under tremendous pressures, yet not shatter into smaller fragments.
