Only to note the technique you used, file this one away, I think it would be most useful to you later on when you want to create gargoyles or other scary monster things. +*+Murasaki no Ryuu+*+ J 'Poppyache' Vallely replies: "Ok - will do Thanx for the comment and the tip!!" | |

| 25 Feb 2004 | Laura Lee Paxson | The green tinge, creepy stare, and deformities make me think this is the sort of drawing a young Brian Froud may have produced. That's not a bad thing. If you don't know what I'm talking about, check out one of his "Pressed Faeries" books. J 'Poppyache' Vallely replies: "omg u du not no how much of a complement that is! Brian froud is one of my all time favourate artists! oh wow! have you seen his fearies book that ha did with alan lee? omg....... ^.^" | |
| 26 Feb 2004 | Laura Lee Paxson | Yes, I have a small collection of Brian Froud's books, including "Faeries". I like that one the best too. My favorite movie growing up (and now) is "Labyrinth". He worked with Jim Henson on the creatures for the movie. So, (until recently) I'd been unknowingly a fan of Froud for many years. J 'Poppyache' Vallely replies: "oooh, i'll haf 2 try an see that movie ....brian froud has been a great inspiration to me.... if anyone hasent seen his work i advise you to now! its fantastic!" | |
