SciFi and Fantasy Art: Fey Dreams

'It was so cold, and he had been wandering for so long. Every tree looked like the tree he had just passed, and in the gloam, his imagination painted little eyes glimmering from the underbrush. With a shiver he lay down at the foot of a sprawling ancient oak. The twisted branches seemed to contort to cradle him. So quickly did his vision glaze with sleep that he never noticed the shimmering figures that seperated themselves from the bark of the tree; the spindly twigs break off into spritely phantasms; the twirling leaves dance away with mischievous pirouettes'
