Congrats with the Mods!!! | |

| 19 Mar 2008 | Lena Scheers | Really pretty ... I can imagine it had to take a while before this picture was done ... experimenting with thos cloudformations and everything. Nice work ! | |
| 19 Mar 2008 | Heidi Hecht | Wow! I can see why this got a Mod’s! This has to be one of the best if not THE best picture on Elfwood, and that’s saying a lot! | |
| 19 Mar 2008 | Rochelle Green | Although I like the fractal patterns you have made with the clouds in the little insets, I think I would much prefer the middle panel as a stand alone picture. Here you have fused two different forms of art - fractal-like manipulation and the phoenixes which you have rendered. I think that in the middle panel they are vying for dominance. My eye is pulled back and forth between the clouds and the phoenixes in a confusing manner. In comparison with the very well done shapes and forms, the layout seems a bit simplistic, which I think lets the picture down a little bit :-x Sorry if this seems a bit harsh a critique. I LOVE the phoenixes, I LOVE LOVE LOVE them, which is probably why I am so disappointed that the picture isn’t working exactly as my own sensibilities would dictate. Of course its your pic so to hell with me The fractals in the insets are beautiful...I really like them. I just personally would like to see these fantastic elements in their own pictures - either that or a little more "cohesive" as a picture on a whole. All in all, lovely work. | |

| 19 Mar 2008 | Anon. | lol its a phoenix heather. anyways, just absolutely lovely! The art is beautiful beyond words and the cloud formations are just crazy! ^^ | |
| 20 Mar 2008 | Steph Salt | It’s beautifully painted and very artistically laid out and in my opinion it’s very cohesive indeed, just look at how the shapes of the clouds and the Phoenix echo in the different frames. It’s stunning The only thing that I would alter is to make the clouds in some of the square more the central image instead of a shape that looks vaguely like an xray of the human rib cage, and perhaps twist the squares about a touch Excuse me but for the last few years I’ve rested a bit from fantasy and studied art as a whole so I think that I might have an idea about it by now | |
| 20 Mar 2008 | Kristin "Eve-Rebil" Phillips | Love the phoenixes! The clouds are pretty cool too, although I agree with the ideas of the above commenters. The middle frame could definately stand on it’s own. It’s really awesome though as is! Amazing concept Congrats on the mods! | |
