SciFi and Fantasy Art: Uranean Man o' War

...And if there's dragon life on Jupiter, well it only follows that there must be dragon life on Uranus, right? This has got to be one of my very favorite images. Unfortunately - or is it very fortunately? - the original was bought at its very first showing at Archon in early October 2002.

This image was done with ink, acrylic, watercolor, and colored pencil. As wonderful as the response to this piece has been, I will definitely be doing more in this vein.

I absolutly love the picture how it is, but I'm curious to see what it would look like with a kind of 'metallic' texture to it, or even chrome. just a suggesstion. I really like your art. you have true talent.

It reminds me of one of my favourite game series of "Darius", an excellent horizontal shooting game. Very similar design to some of the bosses you encounter..mmmm great work rachael Marley
