SciFi and Fantasy Art: Owwies..

What can I say? I wasn't feeling too cheerful when i drew this.. but it was a release. I also did a small ink drawing, but didn't scan it. Originally, I wanted it to be a forward facing picture.. but day-um is it hard to draw tilted back heads from that angle. Done in Corel Photopaint, and my first foray into serious art for a long while.(i know the spear is terrible :\)

Well, for a spear it's got a rather bent head, but that can happen for several reasons: that could be a ballista bolt, balista being any crossbow too big to carry by one person and bolts have been known to bend when hitting things, also since I taught myself to draw weapons before people[big mistake] I made some real ones and tested them, the spears bent heads sometimes and other times snapped right below the head, so your spear could have snapped below the head. Anyways, the pose is awesome and he looks like he just got impaled a second ago. Much fun even if it is dark.
