SciFi and Fantasy Art: Flying faerie

Well, she's flying, but I guess maybe her wings are straining a bit because she looks mightily uncomfortable and stooped.

Love the monochrome, fuzzy look. A little shading might make it better... or might not. It's up to you.

:-) Rachel Rose Glaser replies: "Wowee. I am so flattered that someone commented on this so soon after it was posted. I am in love with this picture, it is my favorite at the moment. Thank you for your shading suggestion, I will consider it. I just am so bad at it. "

I think she has something really faery-like 2 i see them to be not always perfect or anatomical correct, especially the young or clumsy ones, or maybe just the ones who want to make somebody laugh 2
i think it has something really cute how she "hangs" from her wings, like she's not really good at flying or hasn't yet found the right position for her wings to come out of her back (i think flying would be easier if the wings came out of her shoulders and not so low, down her back).

She reminds of the faeries by froud, I think its because she seems whimisical.
