SciFi and Fantasy Art: Eímar

This little fellar is an Eímar, similar to our seagull, but it is a far better flyer, thanks to the fact that it has 4 wings. I know it has no eyes, but it uses echo-location instead. A razor-sharp beak makes short work of any prey that it catches, and the strange shaped tail gives it incredible agility.

 

I Wanted to make a beastie with four wings, and you can see the result. Not bad, I think.

Plain old pencil on paper, but with a bit of computer fiddling.
