There is a story to this one, but make your own story as you like with it. Inked sketch with Painter, this was more experimentation on my part with Painter.

14 Nov 2005	Lisa Eakin	Loading... Oooo hmm I wonder what would happen next. Don't think it would be a fight about to happen even though the landbound guy does have a weapon. Looks more like 2 messengers coming to tell him something to me Very cool pic. Great coloring, shading, the chars look great.. well from what you can see of the winged ones at least.. heh. and the background is simple but it definetly works! Lots better than what I can do heh.
27 Aug 2006	John Nowak	Loading... Why does one have black wings and the other white? Are they angels or harpies? Did you realize the black-winged one looks like it doesn't have arms separate from its wings (because of the way the bases of the wings look, and because you can't see the arms)? Why am I asking so many questions? (I'm sure I'm not the FIRST to submit a comment like this one to this website.)
