SciFi and Fantasy Art: Joyous!

This was a quick sketch from a picture in a magazine to capture some emotion. I didn't feel like sharpening my pencil as I was sketching, and then decided to try something a little different than I normally do. I think that it turned out pretty nice.

21 Jan 2000	Sir Jon	Loading... Wow!!! I feel so privileged to be the first to comment on this work of art. I love the shading of this piece. It adds to the depth of it. I think it is well done. The face is realistic, and you did a great job on it. Keep up the good work, girl!!! Oh... and .... give me some artistic advice, if you will. I am an aspiring artist, attempting to learn to draw the human figure, and any tips would be greatly appreciated!
19 Nov 2000	Anon.	Loading... ooo...very nice, very VERY nice, indeed. But I think you need to reconsider your conceptions of emotions...this one looks less like the depiction of a woman in a joyful mood, and more like a woman in the throes of passion.
23 Nov 2006	Dragonspheal	Loading... Somehow it looks like she is full of emotions, but somehow she looks like she is empty of emotions. I think the chin is a big too square...Well, that is my opinion. Great job! Everything else of that picture looks awsome! Great details! Lol
