SciFi and Fantasy Art: The Death of Mercutio

Oh Mercutio!!! My lovable Mercutio!!! 8sniffles* But very good pic. I feel that there's something not quite right with Romeo's head, but I can't quite pick it out, so never mind. Hmm... Them as animals. That your idea, ne? Very good stuff.

Snifffff... Mercutio's my fav character from R&J (I love him since I've played him in a schoolplay, and yes I'm a girl). Anyway, I like the pic. The idea is cool and I like the colours, they're very.... well... the compose in a cool way!

good good, very good mercutio is my favorite character in Romeo and Juliet as well, in fact Im suposed to be writing a report on him as I type this XD As to the art however it is very good, but I have to agree with Squinkus, there is something a bit off with Romeo’s head, but, alas... Also I think the too roles of the animals should have been switched, Mercutio as the lion, and Romeo as the fox, I just think the lion suits Mercutio’s boisterous personality much better. But, the background I thoroughly enjoyed, the color choice was odd, but I like it, and the splotches and mottled darkness was very striking and worked well. All in all this is a great piece of artwork, and I like the way it represents my favorite character in all of Romeo and Juliet very well, Mercutio.
