Randy you have a clean style with your character art- i like the detail also - i would though like to see some landscape and layout- in your quest to be a comic book artist you will really need to round out your portfolio with more than pinups- if you can draw those as well as your pinups you will do just fine-

My son, Teancum, thinks your drawing rocks. He's 7 and just figuring out where his name came from, LOL.

But it doesn't keep me from depicting characters from the Book of Mormon...I just don't post them on Elfwood anymore. And I think it's awesome you named your boy Teancum. We need Teancums in this day and age more than ever before."

Dude!! I love your stuff! Its, its... AMAZING! the figures and forms, and compositions! Drool! and its super cool that you graduated from BYU! I'm going to BYU-I. I'm loooovin the art program, but freezing my toes off. Has being in Hawaii inspired any of your work?

:-) Randy Saunders replies: "Yes, being in Hawaii has inspired my work in that it has inspired me TO work. All but one of the pieces in my fan-art gallery were done after moving to Hawaii. Compared to how rarely I used to draw while I was in college I have been prolific since moving to Hawaii. I've kinda been in a rut for the last year though and haven't produced anything, but you know all about that now. It's probably about time I dust off the ol' sketchbook and get back to creating stuff. Thanks for the encouragement."
