Inspired by a friend of mine who knows that I live in a very hot (but not compared to some) desert called Arizona. I did this on cardboard because unless you're in the cities with manicured lawns, the landscape is rather gray or brown. But every once in a while you'll get a splash of green. Perhaps that is why she looks so pale is because anything left out during the summer here loses all it's color except the cacti. And every so often you may come across a shallow stream or dry creek bed. So here is my desert angel, immune to the intensities of the desert, apparently including cactus needles.
