SciFi and Fantasy Art: Old man mountain

Even a hero grows old,It is just that they seldom get the chance. There is a few that reach an old age, walking the mountain trails. Mountain got his name from his once strong frame, both of mind and body. Despite his age,he still swings his sword 'Justice', and bring just that to the mountain villages. (I colored this against my better judgement, and it actually came out allright! *shock* )

Excellent, I like the blend you have here with the old man done in black and white pencil with the color in the background. Interesting expression too 1 Raven: Thanks! I am rather happy myself!

I have a sword call Justice too.... (actually it's call The Sword of Justice). Could this be a foretelling of me in the future.... Nah, I ain't planning on living that long >1. Carpe diem! - Warlord of the Three Lost Virtues Raven: Nononono...it is carpe jugulum these days! *pointed smile*

PS it's a good touch that he's the same colour (or no colour, the same gray) as the mountains. Great. *Claps* Raven: Thanks! there is two possible explanations to that: 1. I meant that as an paralell all along or 2. Just the same pencil,ya know? -Choose the one you like. 12

I take it back, THIS is my favorite. It's got the right amount of colour and I love the idea (which is expressed beautifully on top of just being a good idea sooooo).

He doesn't seem world-weary to me. He looks like a spirit of the mountain. But then, people see what they want to see, and that's what I've been lookin' for lately. Raven: Well,he is indeed a spirit of the mountain, old and gnarled as the mountains, and wise beyond human years...but of course...also weary. I am honored that you have favorites among my humble art! *bow*
