THE KHARAKHIANS

The Kharakhian Merfolk lives in the Kharakh Desert on the second continent on an,as yet,unnamed world.
They have a social structure sentered on the Clan. Each Clan is part of a greater Tribe,and these tribes often lie in constant warfare.

The K.Merfolk live in a land dominated by great wastelands,broken only by large shallow seas.
The hostility of this climate have forced them to evolve certain caracteristica,not normally asociated with merfolk.

Since the large seas and pools they live in dry out during some seasons, they have to be able to walk long distances.thus the legs,instead of a tail. Their eyes is protected by a black protection membrane,that shades the eye from the sun,and flying grit. All comunication is by mind alone...
